"If its snowy whiteness could speak, the Virgin Mary would be livid. I relate to the lily through history: the royal fleur de lys emblem takes one back to the courts of the French monarchy."

With their rounded shoulders and apothecary stopper, the delightfully old-fashioned luxury of the exclusive bottles played a key role in forging the Serge Lutens reputation. Taking us back to basics with a perfume which is dabbed on with the finger, these very special bottles were initially only available from Serge Lutens’ Palais Royal shop in Paris. Today, they are distributed on a slightly larger scale to reach the growing number of aficionados.
